This is a photo taken of our very first candles. Wow. We really have come a long way. This photo dates back to about 2002. Cringeworthy, yes. But it shows a lot. I loved my little flag-waving teddy bear labels, and I made my own labels then, as I still do today. Thankfully, they fit better today, and we have tried to keep up with the changes of times and geography.

In 2002 the feeling of Americana was everywhere (like the very red, white and blue of the background which was my dining room in 2002). This was largely due to the wave of patriotism that swept our nation following the attacks of 9/11. We have updated our lids, our labels, and some of our colors. But we still put a 'God Bless Our Troops' sticker on the lid of EVERY candle we sell. Our love of God, our nation, and those who serve to protect us and our freedoms, will never change. Not ever.

Today our candles are made using the same wax 'recipe' as then, same wicks, same fragrance ratio. Even our jars are the same.
Despite all the changes and the 'keeping up', our quality remains the very best I know how to make it. That will never change.
